McMenamins Edgefield Resort in Troutdale, OR is one of our favorite places to hang out while we're in the Portland, OR area. There is just so much to love! If you're not familiar with the McMenamins Edgefield property, this 74 acre location was once the Multnomah County Poor Farm in 1911, and was transformed into a destination resort by the McMenamin Company in the 1990's. This amazing wedding location offers European style lodging with super-cute rooms and old fashioned telephone booths in the hallways. There's also a movie theater (cute photo opportunity!), numerous restaurants, a winery/brewery, and a golf course.
EDGEFIELD's ENTRANCE & SURROUNDING GARDENS:
Here's a video and some pictures of the entrance to Edgefield, and some of the gardens that surround the main buildings.
I (Melissa) am NOT a videographer, so please excuse the shaky videos! :)
EDGEFIELD MAIN LODGE
Among other things, this lodge hosts 100+ hotel rooms, the Black Rabbit Restaurant, and a cozy late night hang out spot: Lucky Staehly's Pool Hall. There are sooo many unique photo spots in the Main Lodge- lavish staircases, aged wooden floors, original art on the walls... we could go on and on!

POWER STATION PUB/THEATRE
Here's a video of the Power Station Pub, where both the movie theater and Pub restaurant are located.
We spotted some great ivy on the back wall of the Pub, and a unique piece of artwork in front of the Pub. Nice portrait spots!
Overall, everything at Edgefield is soaked with beauty and creativity. If you are a bride who wants your playful side to be showcased at your wedding, then get married at Edgefield and take us along!!!
